Truth On MLM – How To Create Success In MLM

Have you ever bought leads for your Network Marketing business?

How much did you spend on leads before you found out it didn’t work?

$500…?

$1000…?

$10,000…?

Your life savings…and did you max out your credit cards too?

You know, buying leads have to be the biggest scam of all. The hot shots in some companies tell you:

“Buy leads, you have to buy leads and CALL them all!”

“You need to call at least 20 – 100 people every day.”

“Very few people is going to call them, so you will have an advantage!”

“These leads are exlusive to you, noone else is receiving them…only you!”

“These leads are pre qualified, interviewed leads. They are just waiting for a call from you. Just get them into the deal, they are waiting for you to enroll them.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I have heard all that before…

I have called “Top Quality Exclusive Leads” that have been dead for years, 8 year old girls, 93 year old men who moved to nursing homes.

Been there…done that.

And when you can’t make it work, and talk to your upline about it, they tell you:

“It must be something you are doing wrong. You must have the wrong posture.”

What they DON’T tell you is that THEY NEVER USED THE LEADS THEMSELVES TO BUILD THEIR BUSINESS!!!

The top people of your company can be the same people who OWNS the lead company you buy the leads from. They were just planning on sucking as much money as possible out of you!

If they don’t own the company, they are probably affiliated with the lead company they recommend.

But they never used those leads themselves.

Let me ask you a question:
Did you come into your business as a purchased lead?
Did your upline come in as a purchased lead?

I have talked to people this last week who spent thousands of dollars on leads. Some people spend $30,000 on leads!

They worked their business full time. 12-14 hours a day on the phone calling leads. Some people called as many as 150-200 leads every day over a long period of time.

Result: A BIG FAT ZERO!

They might have enrolled a few people that way, but most of them were gone after a month or two anyway.

Moral: DO NOT BUY AND CALL LEADS IN YOUR BUSINESS!
IT DOES NOT WORK!

Did you think that all the bad stuff in your MLM company’s Policies & Procedures was there just to make the lawyers happy?

Think again…

Today I got a message from a friend of mine. He talked to a guy recentlywho was having moderate success in a Network Marketing company. This is the story he told:

I have recently been building a relationship with a man who at this point is not interested in downloading the ebook, which is his choice.

He told me of his story about being terminated by his company. He was in [name of company removed], had built his group to 683 people including 55 personals. At this point someone in his company stole his e-mail password and started spamming people about [name of company removed]. This thief then contacted [name of company removed] and informed them that my friend was spamming people. Without even investigating the complaint, [name of company removed] automatically terminated his account.

He received a letter about a week later from [name of company removed] saying they had investigated the complaint and found it to be untrue. They offered him his position back along with the back pay they owed him. His answer was “kiss my butt” and he joined up with another company. This goes to show that some companies will live up to their P&P of “terminate at will”.

For those of you that do not know about [name of company removed], his 683 people was bringing him a whopping 683 dollars per month.

Be carefull out there before you choose a MLM company. Many of them will kick you out of the company for much less reason than this guy’s company did. Some of them will kick you out of the company and steal your paycheck as soon as you have built it to a certain size for no reason at all.

There are many of these stories floating around, and many of those stories are actually true. I know many people personally who got their check stolen by bad companies.

Have you ever experienced your MLM paycheck going down instead of going up?

There is a perfectly logical reason why that is happening if you are involved in the wrong MLM company.

Now, let me first say that I don’t mean to hurt your feelings or put down ANY MLM company. But the reality is that this is happening more often that you think, and for a perfectly logical reason.

You see, all MLM companies that are publicly traded are not really run by the people on the front page of their websites. They are in reality run by their investors. All the rich guys that invested money into the companies.

And, these investors don’t have a habit of throwing money out of the window. They run a cynical hard core game of getting as much return on their invested money as possible.

Another thing is that these guys usually don’t have a clue on how the best MLM companies are run, or how they should be run. All they usually care for is filling up their very deep pockets.

So, what happens after a couple of years, when publicly traded MLM companies start to grow and make money?

The investors want a higher return on their money, the company management guys want a huge, impressive office building, expensive cars, maybe a company jet, and lots of staff need to be there to handle all the orders and all the new customers.

In short, they are building a larger and larger overhead of expenses that needs to be paid. Some of the big MLM companies that have been around for many years have so much financial overhead that they can’t afford to pay their affiliates or distributors more than a few percent in commission on each sale.

Of course, they need something that will keep new distributors signing up, so they offer a deal with some big names that they can use as advertising bate and offer them a place high up in an already built downline for a nice price.

They also “fix” the payplan so that only the people on top makes any real money. Part time beginners never make any good money in many of these companies. Many of these payplans are also so complicated that nobody really understand them anyway.

When they brought a few hot shots into the company, they can brag that they are creating millionaires in the business on the cost of all the new people.

They also need everything to be legal, so what else do they do?

They hire a whole bunch of lawyers to draw up some Policies & Procedures that usually span somewhere between 30 and 100 pages of small print. Nobody reads these Policies & Procedures anyway, so they put in stuff like this:

“We can kick you out of the company anytime we like…”

“You have to continuosly bring in new people into the company to qualify for a check….”

These things are usually put into the contract at the end because nobody reads a 100 page contract before signing up. They believe the well dressed people at the presentation before checking up on the facts.

I am no good at “legaleese”, so this is not what is actually written in these contracts…but this is the meaning and the real intention of the people writing them.

Then when you have built a nice, big organization for a few years and you start to get paid well for your efforts, then they find some excuse to take away your paycheck or cut it in half or pay you 10% or something like that.

They probably have 30 to 100 pages of legaleese to help them find an excuse, so they WILL find an excuse.

If you don’t like that, many of the “best MLM companies” can kick you out of the company because you signed the contract…it’s in the Policies & Procedures and YOU were sucked in by a fancy presentation that never mentioned anything about this, so you signed the thing without even reading it.

Is it strange many people can’t make real money in MLM???

There is something you can do about this though…

Get yourself educated on how to find the Best MLM Company out there. A company where you can build big, build once, and build it in such a way that it will pay your childrens children. A company that will take care of YOU as a human being, that will treat you fair.
